NO-Burning! But is.... there a good Solution available on this moment?

Yes there is.....!!!!!!!!

Following a literal quotation of Dr. Paul Connett, professor of Chemistry St. Lawrence University Canton NY 13617, by his presentation of " Municipal Waste Incineration: A Poor Solution for The Twenty First Century at the 4 th Annual International management Conference Waste -to -Energy on Nov. 24 & 25, 1998 Amsterdam)

* In my view, the five principles, or imperatives, we need to apply in order to solve the waste crisis in an environmentally sound and economically cost effective manner, are:

1- Keep the solution simple.

2- Keep the solution local.

3- Integrate the solution with the local economy.

4- Integrate the solution with local community development.

5- Make sure the solution is sustainable.

Answer on his principles or imperatives as mentioned above:

The Solution is The E.I.C.R. Project!

1- Is the Solution simple?

On the first imperative I can say that the E.I.C.R. Project (Ecological, Industrial, Chemical Recovery Trough transformation of S.U.R. and /or sludge) is a very simple solution for the transformation of S.U.R. ( Solid Urban Refuse and /or sludge).

# The E.I.C.R. Project is a World patented technology and entitled " Patent inherent process for the "cold" transformation of solid urban refuse and/ or sludge into inert material and a plant for the implementation of the said process".

# A small description of the process: This technology allows the transformation of Solid Urban Refuse and Sludge (waste) trough a cold process, by means of an exclusive chemical, using a polymeric additive, plus a specific catalyst. The whole production process is a completely closed cycle. Everything what's coming in, even the odor is utilized in the facility. The only thing what's going out, are inert materials produced in the facility.

2- Can we keep the E.I.C.R. Project local?

One unit has the capacity of transformation of 250 ton S.U.R. daily. What's means for about 250.000 habitants if we calculate approx. 1kg/head of waste. Naturally we can upgrade the plant for bigger transformation. The next capacity will be 500 ton/day, 750 ton/day and so on. And this on a area of around 30.000m2.

So S.U.R. transportation will have a local way to the facility, and can charge for example tiles or gravel on there way back.

3-Can we integrate the E.I.C.R. Project with the local economy?

The finishing products for example: gravel, 170 ton or 6000m2 like tiles (solid plates) daily can be used or sold for local demands. The profits can be used for the building of schools, roads, municipal urban and so an. It will create more local jobs.

4- Can the E.I.C.R. Project integrated with the local community development?

It's so that for example a community of 20.000 habitants has the possibility to put one E.I.C.R. Project facility, they will have the possibility to corporate with neighbour community's to get the 250 ton ore more daily. The will get of the waste on a economic way and can buy it back as a class A construction material for the price of much lower class construction material. Everybody will have profit on this cycle of recovery.

5- Is the E.I.C.R. Project sustainable?

The technology used for the machines are very simple. There spare parts are practically always available on the local market. The factory will have proper trained technicians. The used technology is modern and constructed with the best material we can get on the local market what also will be well tested or compared with the international quality norms and standards.

The maintenance costs are very low (see the more detailed in the economic plan). We are sure that this solution, the E.I.C.R. Project will create an revolution in this world of waste

Conclusion

We hope that we have opened the revolution against the very big problems of the incinerator, thermo- destructor and landfills of waste. With the E.I.C.R. Project we will stop the drastic pollution of the environment. Te problem is very serious and hope that we get the full support of all nation leaders and everybody on this world to place as many as possible E.I.C.R. Projects to clean our planet.

It's profitable, it's make local jobs, it's recover your loving nature, it's democratic, it's sustainable, it's create an active economy and it's a Solution and revolution for our environment in the 21st century
